Supplementary Regulations for all Trials

RTV Supplementary Regulations

Scruitineering 8.00-9.45am

                                             

1.       All vehicles must be presented clean for scruitineering

2.       Competitors will maintain in vehicle order when trialling

3.       Vehicles will be ready to move to the start line when the preceding vehicle has started

4.       Failure to do this will result in a maximum penalty

5.       No looping out

6.       Cross canes are not to be touched or knocked down. If this happens the score for the next gate will be given

7.       Scorecards are to be marked by the Clipboard Marshall only.

8.       Competitors are responsible for ensuring scorecards are marked prior to leaving the section

9.       Any appeals against a marshal’s decision must be directed to the group leading marshal only. No appeals will be accepted after the section is completed

10.   A re-run can only be authorised by the Clerk Of Course

11.   Only persons signed on are permitted to travel in competition vehicles

12.   Only competition vehicles are permitted on the trials area

13.   No competitors are permitted to touch the canes. Tampering with the course will incur a maximum penalty

14.   A speed limit of 5mph applies when traveling between sections and in the parking area

15.   The Clerk Of Course’s decision is FINAL

16.   Seat belts must be worn correctly whilst on a section. A three point seat belt must be fitted across the shoulder as well as the waist

17.   Where the vehicle is road legal, mass, production vehicle retaining the original hard top or truck cab and where seat belts comply with K2.1.1 the minimum age of a navigator is 12 years of age.

18.   All membership cards must be shown at signing on.

19.   The use of hand- breaks in all vehicles is with-drawn whilst negotiating a turn.

CCV Supplementary Regulations

Scruitineering 8.00 – 9.45am

 

1.       Logbooks to be given to the chief scruitineer prior to scruitineering and collect at the end of the trial from the competition secretary

2.       All vehicles must be presented clean for scruitineering

3.       All vehicles must carry a suitable tow rope (no chains or Strops)

4.       Vehicles will be ready to move to the start line when the preceding vehicle has started. Failure to do this will result in a maximum penalty

5.       Cross canes are not to be touched. If they are touched the score for the next gate will be given

6.       Scorecards are to be marked by the Clipboard Marshall only.

7.       Competitors are responsible for ensuring scorecards are marked prior to leaving the section

15.   Suspension systems must not be modified other than within the permitted changes outlined in the ALRC Handbook

16.   The use of hand-brakes is withdrawn whilst negotiating a turn

17.   All rules as per the 2015 ALRC (Green) Book
